Stained Glass Forest Stag Sculpture – Handmade Woodland Art on Elm Burr Base

A majestic stag stands quietly among the trees, captured in warm stained glass tones inspired by the Forest of Dean. Each piece of glass is hand‑cut, shaped, and soldered using traditional techniques, creating a sculpture that glows beautifully in natural light.

This woodland stag is mounted on a striking elm burr base, chosen for its organic texture and rich grain. The combination of glass and wood gives the piece a grounded, earthy presence — perfect for bringing a touch of the forest into your home.
Every sculpture is handmade in my Forest of Dean studio using a blend of new, reclaimed, and recycled materials. Subtle variations in the glass make each stag completely unique.
